Aqua Max HIIT Squad - 6 week HIIT, Cardio and Strength Programme

Are you looking for a programme that caters to all fitness levels and want to have a variety of options? Then this Fitness Programme is for you! We have a variety of session options each week that will surely keep you interested and will keep you on your toes! Our programme includes unlimited pool entry too so if you love to swim then this deal is super value for money. 

 

Our 6 week HIIT programme begins 9th of August!

Programme details

All inclusive fees: $85 for this 6 week HIIT Fitness Programme

However if you register and pay by Wednesday 4th of August, you will get the early bird price of $70!

 

Our sessions:

HIIT Sessions — These sessions have a mix of High Intensity Interval Training based around short duration circuits and cardio inspired workouts. High Intensity does mean there will be dynamic movements which will be fast and precise. It is all about moving the body well. The trainers will give options for scaled movement options. The HIIT classes are better suited to those who do not have any restrictive injuries or pre existing medical concerns or conditions as these classes can not be altered to suit an individual. 

HIIT express  -  These are express classes and will run for 30mins. The gym will be open 15mins prior to the session for you to arrive, mobilise and warm up before the session commences. Generally, you will see these around the lunchtime slot. Being smaller classes, the trainer can scale back movements to suit if required. Being a shorter class, you'll get warmed up pretty quickly and getting in to some of the High Intensity Interval Training. 

Core classes - These classes are low impact sessions, great for prep for the HIIT classes after or as an option for active recovery. The Core & Mobility classes will be 30mins long and will focus on strengthening the core muscles and working the Posterior Chain muscle groups. A good amount of time will be spent doing some active and static stretching and poses to lengthen out the muscles as well as working on flexibility. There is no doubt you will still work up a sweat here!

Swim Fit session - Now that the weather is cooling down we will move from our Aqua HIIT to Swim Fit. We'll be working on lap swimming, swim technique and general fitness. You don't have to be a strong swimmer at all, there are plenty of levels we can cater for. This session will mainly be in the pool however those that have enjoyed our Aqua HIIT sessions can request some special out of water or Hydro slide workouts. 

Cardio and Core — Wanting to increase your cardio capacity? Joining this class will help in a big way. Using cardio machines, body weight exercises will be a big component to this session, cardio does not always mean running! There are always scaled options during our Cardio classes so if you are looking for a lower intensity class than our HIIT, then this one is certainly a great option. Typically at the end of the session you might do a core finisher!

Aqua Burn / Aqua Force— Great for toning the body and working the cardiovascular system. A good class to do for recovery when the body is sore or for trying something different. Working out in the water ins not for the faint hearted, you really can get the results from using the water as resistance.  Please note: these classes follow our public Aqua Fitness classes with our Aqua instructor, not an Aqua Max trainer. 

Open Gym— Drop in at anytime during the open session timeslot to work on extras like cardio,  mobilizing or following the pre programmed workout written on the board by our trainers for our members.

 

We will run the 6 week fitness programme with a mix of fitness sessions that incorporate fun and exciting exercises that will benefit you. We challenge ourselves in providing unique fitness sessions that are exclusive to us and not one of our sessions is ever repeated. You will have a trainer motivating you throughout the workout who has specially designed the session for our members.... we don't run generic sessions, your instructors create the workouts especially for our members. You you can push yourself as much as you need and feel comfortable to.

All members receive a pool client card that allows you to come in to the pools for swimming free of charge for the 6 weeks. There are some additional Aqua Classes that you can attend as extras if you prefer to do water only sessions, you just need to speak with us so we can arrange it. 

Our programme is aimed to cater to all fitness abilities as we schedule approx 3 different skill/fitness levels in our sessions. We don't recommend attending the high impact classes if you have a major injury that will restrict you from completing the movements. You should seek medical clearance if you have a major medical issue/restriction from performing simple movements. These movements are performed in most of our workouts in one way or another and you will come across the following: Squat, Push up, Plank, Crunches/Sit ups, Burpee, Lunges, Deadlift as well as running, moderate jumping and using functional fitness equipment. We do not want to be changing exercises to a complete different part of the body so you need to be either attending the sessions that will ensure your injury will not be provoked or be able to do the modified version of them.  We highly recommend the aqua and water based classes for people who are recovering from injuries as the water is low impact. 

 

How to register on to our Programme 

Registrations are open now! Please either email your questions about the programme to Renee at reneeb@napieraquatic.co.nz along with the registration waiver and the first time client fitness questionnaire. Alternatively, you can pop in to the Napier Aquatic Centre reception and fill in the forms and secure your spot this way. Payment is required upfront to secure your spot, spaces are not confirmed until the payment is made. Payment is only able to be taken at our front counter at this point in time, sorry, no internet banking option is available at this stage.

Once registered, an email will be sent a couple of days before the programme commences once we have our confirmed numbers. There are limited spaces available for this intake so be sure to book your spot quickly.

You will be asked to join our private Facebook group to keep up to date will all of the information on the programme. The page to search for is Aqua Max HIIT Squad and you will only be accepted on to it once confirmed on our programme.

All inquiries about the programme can also be emailed and will be responded to at the earliest possibility. It is First in First served!

Booking on to the programme can be made at the Napier Aquatic Centre reception or emailing your completed forms through to the above email. Payment can only be made at the Napier Aquatic Centre. Payment options are Cash, Cheque or EFTPOS. Full Payment is required before the Programme begins. Your acceptance on to the programme is not confirmed until payment has been made. Please make sure you read the terms and conditions before you hand in your waiver. This is a commitment to our programme and once you have committed to us... we have committed to helping you on your journey. Once your payment has been made we will email you the details on the programme and a confirmation that you are on the programme.

 

 

We are now doing Small group and One on One sessions....

 

If you are interested in taking your training further and are in need of some more specific training to suit your needs and goals, these sessions will be ideal. You get to choose your style of training that is unique to you/your group’s needs. You are welcome to choose one off sessions, weekly sessions, it is up to you.
These fees are exclusive to Aqua Max HIIT Squad members only who are signed up in the current block.
Sessions are 45min each with the following options:
One on one = $33.00
Two people = $40.00
Three or four = $54.00

Private group sessions

Yes we can take private sessions for workout groups, Corporate workers and sports teams.  If you are looking for something a bit different for your group, please get in touch for more information and costs.
