They must also bring their morning and afternoon tea and lunch as well as a water bottle. If your child is here for after care we recommend providing a snack for this time as well. Please do not give your child food that needs cooking or heating i.e. noodles or pies etc. No energy drinks allowed i.e. Powerade, Redbull, V, Monster etc.

Cell phones, mp3’s, toys and money are prohibited on the programme unless otherwise stated. Please ensure your children leave valuables at home. We are not responsible for missing or broken property. Money for food is not allowed unless stated for an activity such as movies. We do not allow children to bring their own toys or games as they disrupt the activities of our set programme. We require all kids to participate in our programmed activities.

If your child is sick or unable to attend the programme please call and leave a message on the following number; 021 0296 1942. This is the direct line to the Holiday Programme. It is our duty that we must attempt to locate a child if they have not arrived at the programme. Credits will be given only if notice is given before 8:00am the morning of your booking and upon sighting a medical certificate. You are still liable for the costs if you choose for your child to not attend. Please check the Programme Brochure for further information about cancellations.

Child behaviour

As a parent/caregiver you are responsible for your child's behaviour. It is up to the programme leaders to ask parents/caregivers to come and collect their child/ren if the behaviour is not satisfactory. We ask that we have full support from parents/caregivers if it is required for a child to be collected and or removed from the programme. The programme staff will report on the child's behaviour to the programme coordinator and facility manager and it will be at the discretion on the staff if the child will be able to remain on the programme or will be removed.

WINZ subsidies

The Napier Aquatic Centre accepts WINZ subsidies. If you wish to be eligible for a subsidy please contact the Programme Coordinator for more advice. If you want to register your child by OSCAR subsidy you must do so with the programme Coordinator personally. You can only do this in person at the time of booking. You must take your paperwork in to the Work and Income office immediately to lodge the subsidy.
