Cancellations

If your child is sick or unable to attend the programme please call and leave a message on the following number; 027 4137697. This is the direct line to the Holiday Programme. It is our duty that we must attempt to locate a child if they have not arrived at the programme. Credits will be given only if notice is given before 8:00am the morning of your booking and upon sighting a medical certificate. You are still liable for the costs if you choose for your child to not attend. Please check the Programme Brochure for further information about cancellations.

Child behaviour

As a parent/caregiver you are responsible for your child's behaviour. It is up to the programme leaders to ask parents/caregivers to come and collect their child/ren if the behaviour is not satisfactory. We ask that we have full support from parents/caregivers if it is required for a child to be collected and or removed from the programme. The programme staff will report on the child's behaviour to the programme coordinator and facility manager and it will be at the discretion on the staff if the child will be able to remain on the programme or will be removed.

WINZ subsidies

The Napier Aquatic Centre accepts WINZ subsidies. If you wish to be eligible for a subsidy please contact the WINZ office to ensure your eligibility first. If you want to register your child by OSCAR subsidy you must do so with a programme Coordinator personally.

NOTE: All WINZ forms must be received before June 27.

You can only do this in person at the time of booking by coming in during the hours of 9am - 5pm on weekdays. If you are not able to come in during these office hours you will need to bring in your completed OSCAR declaration and your completed registration form and ask these to be handed to the coordinator. From here, the coordinator will assess, register and fill in your forms and will then contact you to come and collect your paperwork. You must take your paperwork in to the Work and Income office immediately to lodge the subsidy. If you do not do this by the required timeframe, your booking will be removed and offered to the next child on the waiting list. You will be handed an information form on payment of subsidies as more often than not you will be required to pay a small portion of the programme fees as WINZ does not completely cover the full costs. You need to be aware of this and be prepared to pay the remaining balance as soon as you receive the invoice. You can do this at the Napier Aquatic Centre. Unpaid bills left longer than the allocated time will be passed on to debt collection.
